I love to make resin charms. I have an Instagram where I post pictures of my charms, @craftedbygwen.
Resin charms are so fun to make and there are so many tutorials on YouTube. Here are a few I found helpful.
For my charms I use Castin’ Craft Easycast Clear Casting Epoxy, which I’ve found at JoAnns, Michaels and Amazon.
I use a variety of colorants, and I’ve found that acrylic paint works pretty well for a opaque color. Some eyeshadows can make a transparent color, and some make an opaque color, you just have to experiment with what brand works best. I’ve also discovered that nail polish doesn’t work for me at all. I tried to use it a while ago, and it made a good color, but never fully cured. It just turned into a bendy mess.
For glitter I use various types of glitters from JoAnns. I also use beads from JoAnns.
I use stickers from sticker books I have lying around and I laminate them with packing tape. I also look on Google Images for cute images and print them out and laminate them with packing tape.
For my molds, I use silicon molds from JoAnns, Michaels, Amazon, and various Etsy sellers.
I also find eyepins from JoAnns and Amazon, and keychains from Amazon.
Hopefully this post helped you out a little bit!
